Welcome to the Chatham Keep Farming website.

The goal of Keep Farming is to maintain a sustainable agricultural community in Chatham, New York. This means that we are making a long-term commitment to being a farm community.

The Second Annual Farm Film Fest
Sunday, January 13, 2008 1:00-4:00pm

Our festival features a variety of short films about farming, many filmed locally. Following the screenings at the Crandell Theatre, join us at Peint O’ Gwrw for a discussion with local farmers and land conservancy advocates. Cash bar and snacks provided. There is no fee to attend either event. Please bring a non-perishable food item to support Chatham's local food pantry. Click here for the complete festival schedule.

As part of the Comprehensive Planning Process, a thorough evaluation of agricultural uses and their contribution to the local economy and quality of life was prepared by the Chatham Agricultural Partnership (CAP). Land in agricultural use was first identified, then prioritized based on the objective criteria. Click here for the full report.
